Fire

Surface spread of flames Class 1 tested in accordance with BS 476 part 7 1971.
Sprinklers: Provided F.O.C. rules are observed all TECH panels can be used in conjunction with ceiling cavity located sprinklers as their open area exceeds 70%

Humidity

TECH panels must not be exposed to humidity levels in excess of 75% R.H. However moisture resistant MDF 313 has been tested with success for use to 85% R.H. but no performance guarantees are available.

Durability

Lightweight but strong, TECH panels are expected to last for the life of the building under normal conditions and subject to reasonable handling

Handling and Storage

TECH panels are packed 10 to a carton (3.6 sqm) and should be stored in dry conditions off the ground with good air circulation around. Cartons should be stacked to a maximum 6 high and should be stored on the site at least 6 days in the same maintained environment as the occupied building.
